Me again, just wanted to touch bases with everyone. I survived the extreme temperatures...barely...I think I'm just too darn old to fully appreciate the nice hot, sunny weather. Don't get me wrong, I love the sun and the heat, but 106 degrees was a little much for this old lady!
All is well with the world. Robin made it home safely and is back into her routine and Peter is happy to have her home again...so is Rusty. Chrissy is still doing well and misses us a lot. We had so much fun visiting her and helping her fix up her new apartment. I just sent off copies of the pictures we took as well as a poster I put together of special "us" photos. God bless Walgreens photo shop.
Anyway, I have to go move the sprinkler so my newly planted bamboo survives...everything else is toast and I don't want any more casualties. I lost my beans, peas, cucumbers, I have one squash that may grow...may not...and some tomatoes. Other than that, everything was fried! Ah well, if you're going to make it in my garden you either thrive by yourself or it sucks to be you!

Sorry about all of your goodies frying! Glad it is cooler now for you. After living in AK for 9 years now I don't think I could handle anything over 80........LOL
