Alrighty then...it's been forever since my last entry so I figured I better fill in the space before there's whining in the ranks.
The summer has turned to fall and the leaves have fallen...as well as pine needles, branches, etc. I had a new patio installed and spent most of the time out in my swing reading and surveying all that needed to be done but wasn't going to be...because I was sitting in the swing reading. Patio's cause laziness.
I also got creative and entered a contest for creating the best book in a series of categories, one being family. I titled my work "Inside the Mind of a Crazy Old Lady" and though it will never win the contest I had so much fun doing it that I did a second one as well which I titled "Through My Eyes". I'm thinking about #3, but will wait till Christmas is over so I'll have some food for the book.
The best part is that all my children will be coming home for Christmas. Chrissy will be coming from Colorado, David and family and Debbie and Brianna from California, and Robin and Pete from Maui. The only rule will be mama gets the bathroom first! I can't wait. It will be the first time in many many years that all my children will be together with me.
