Well, crap! Now I get to feel extremely sorry for myself for the next little while. David, Tonia and the boys just left to go back to California. I can remember leaving my mom's house to return home and looking in the rear view mirror to see her standing all alone in the front yard with her hands clasped in front of her and tears in her eyes watching as I drove away. OMG!!! I AM my mother! (Note to self: make greater effort to get to California to visit all children and grandchildren more often)
I had a wonderful visit. I got to spoil my little boys, David worked on my "honey-do" list and cleaned my gutters and fixed the vent in the attic, Tonia and I got to visit and go shopping, and I got to cook for my kids. (Sorry about the crepes David) We got to go out for breakfast this morning before they had to leave...it's amazing how slowly one can eat to put off an unpleasant situation.
Thank you for coming to visit, I had such a good time with you and my little boys, we will do this again sometime soon. Be safe, and know that I love you.
