It's funny how much you can learn if you only read the instruction booklet! Now that I found out how some of the settings work, a whole other world has opened up. I need to get a tripod for some more detailed, up close and personal pictures. I have ideas running around in my head for shots I want to take. I wonder if there are classes I can take to get better at this? Of course, I also have to take into consideration the vast amounts of photos I'm starting to accumulate and where the heck am I going to put them all! I don't want to be that person people avoid because of "family pictures".Anyway, I just wanted to pass along my enthusiasm and joy in finding a new toy.

I want to know what you're learning! I don't have the patience to sit down and read mine.
And what's wrong with being that person people are afraid of for catching family pictures? There's NOTHING wrong with us! ;)
Oh! And is that a rock, if so where is it? I LOVE it! I LOVE rocks!!! (for some weird reason) I still have the ones we found at the coast with the little holes in them (like the one in your picture) that had sticks stuck inside (remember?)
